Two South Hams sex offenders are due to appear before a judge at Exeter Crown Court today.
David Hack, 34, from Churchstow, was arrested by police at the Morrisons store in Kingsbridge last month, after falling for a decoy operation run by the Plymouth Against Paedophiles group.
He had been groming what he thought was a 15-year-old girl in an internet chat room when in reality he was in contact with members of the vigilante group.
Hack pleaded guilty in December to attempting to meet a girl aged under 16 following grooming and attempting to incite a girl to engage in sexual activity.
Also due to appear in court is Michael Watton, from Dartmouth, who groomed what he thought were three girls aged 10 to 14 in internet chat rooms but in reality he was talking to adults from the vigilante group based in Plymouth.
He sent messages to a fictitious 14-year-old girl called Ellie May and arranged to meet her at Paignton railway station in October.
Instead of finding a young girl waiting for him, he was greeted by members of the Internet Interceptors group who detained him until police arrived to arrest him.
They filmed their operation and a 45-minute video was posted on an a Youtube channel.
Watton, 56, of Church Road, Dartmouth, admitted attempting to meet a child after grooming with the intention of committing a sexual offence, when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court in December.
