A MAN who drove off from a pub car park after colliding with another vehicle has been fined £200.

Robert Collins, 49, of The Grove, Blackawton, was driving a Peugeot in the Hermitage car park in Mill Street, Kingsbridge, when he hit the other vehicle. Instead of stopping and reporting the accident on July 23 last year, he drove off.

In addition to the fine, Collins had his driving licence endorsed with five penalty points and was ordered to pay £85 costs plus a £30 victim surcharge by Torquay magistrates on Wednesday.
