A DARTMOUTH photographer caught this shot of the Dart RNLI lifeboat in action at the weekend.

David Bown snapped the Dart RNLI Atlantic 85 as it was leaving Dartmouth to a call out off Beesands, around 11am on Sunday morning (Aug 22), as it swept around Kingswear Princess Ferry and several yachts on the water.

The lifeboat launch was to a Pan Pan call from the crew of a 27-foot motorboat whose engine had broken down 2.5 miles off Beesands
