THE Seven Stars in Kingsbridge has offered to be a temporary home for the defibrillator that was on the outside of the petrol station.
The petrol station on Ilbert Road is currently a building site as work is underway to replace the fuel tanks under the forecourt and replace the pumps and roof, meaning the defibrillator had to be removed.
Steve Kerr, Kingsbridge Estuary Rotary Club, said: ‘Laura Croxford, landlord of the Seven Stars Pub and Restaurant, has very kindly agreed to offer a temporary home to our AED until the work is over and it can be returned to the forecourt.
‘The device will be located inside the pub and will be accessible from 11am to 11pm every day of the week.’
There are eight other defibrillators in Kingsbridge, with the Crabshell Inn, Kingsbridge Rugby Club, the Fore Street entrance of Kings Market and Kingsbridge Police station holding open access defibrillators, available 24/7.
Quayside Leisure Centre, Kingsbridge Community College, Mill Street Dental Surgery, Absolute Dental and Tesco in Kingsbridge holding defibrillators that are accessible when the premises are open.
