THE 2nd Kingsbridge Brownies raised more than £300 for Sport Relief by taking part in a karate lesson last week.

They invited karate instructor Ash Hawks from World Traditional Karate Organisation South West to teach them.

Sarah Stephens, brown owl said: ‘In Brownies we learn about ourselves, the community and the world, so we thought we would learn something new while raising money for the community.

‘The girls have had a brilliant evening and it was great to raise the money for Sport Relief.’
