Churchstow will be again bathed in Christmas lights as Mike Langman gears up for another festive fundraising season.

Mike, who has been covering his house, Glebelands in Churchstow, in thousands of Christmas lights for years, not only brightening the days of those who pass by but also raising money for Children’s Hospice South West.

In the 15 years since he started his charity collecting, Mike has raised more than £36,000 for Children’s Hospice South West.

Mike will switch the lights on at 4pm on Saturday, December 1, and after that, Churchstow residents are invited to a buffet held by the Churchstow Parish Council, where for a donation to the lights you can enjoy a mulled wine.
