Dementia Friendly Parishes around the Yealm are in their eleventh year raising awareness as well as supporting people living with dementia and their families.

There’s a packed programme of activities this month. The Singalong is on Friday February 17 at 2pm at Yealmpton Methodist Church Hall, The Coffee and Craft Group meets on Monday February 20 between 10.30am and 12 noon at Yealmpton Community Centre and Carer Support by Zoom is on Friday February 24 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm (call Maxine for the link).

There’s also the Gentle Exercise Group every Tuesday from 10am to 11am and 11.15am to 12 noon at Yealmpton Methodist Church Hall, the Walking Group meeting at the car park end of Barton Close in Wembury every Wednesday at 10.30am, the Reading Group face-to-face and by Zoom between 10.30am and 12 noon in the Parish Room in Yealmpton.
