Youngsters at St Christopher’s Primary found out what the Totnes MP, Anthony Mangnall, does to earn a crust during a recent visit to the school.
During their assembly, Mr Mangnall chatted to the children about his work in the local community and described what his job entails.
Children in Prep 6 had taken part in a debate during UK Parliament Week and the MP was keen to find out their outcome to the motion ‘junk food should be banned for all children’ said the Staverton-based school’s headteacher, Alexendra Cottell.
“It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to ask questions and engage with our local MP,” she added.
