New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Hams’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Gilliflower Kitchen, at TQ9 was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 6.

And Lee Moor Public Hall, at Lee Moor was also given a score of five on April 6.

It means that of South Hams's 201 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 181 (90%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
