A 33-year-old Kingsbridge man is due to appear in court tomorrow, May 15, charged with assaulting a police officer.

Lee Burgoyne is accused of beating Daniel Parker while he was on duty on Lower Union Road, in Kingsbridge, on August 2 last year.

Burgoyne is set to appear at Newton Abbot Magistrates Court for the hearing.
