AN Ivybridge man has been sent to the Crown Court on a charge of assaulting a man in Plymouth causing him actual bodily harm.

Benjamin Roe, aged 21, of Church Lane, Moorhaven, Ivybridge, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court who adjourned the case for a trial at the Crown Court on August 28.

He was granted unconditional bail.
