Once again the Coleridge Bus has said good bye to one of its volunteer drivers.

Methodist minister Reverend Mark Lawrence is off to pastures new in Ivybridge, having been minister for Chillington, Hope Cove and Kingsbridge Methodist churches since January 2014.

Creonne Baker, from the Coleridge Bus said: “While we are very sorry to lose Mark, we wish him the very best for the future.

“But this has left us looking for volunteer drivers to help keep the Coleridge Bus on the road - vital to securing the future of the bus.

“The bus is available for anyone to use, in the villages that we service, 52 weeks of the year. We need you to volunteer to help us continue.

“If you can help out for two hours a week, two hours a month or twice a year, we have a job you could do to help us out.

“It doesn’t matter what age you are, 18-80, all we need is your time and willingness. All the drivers and coordinators are volunteers and nobody takes a wage.

“All donations go to maintaining the bus, training new drivers and keeping this valuable service going,” Creonne added.
