Two Salcombe boys will be bringing London’s most exciting day party to Cliff House next weekend.

James Levey, who alongside partner Archie Ward organises dance parties under the name Babylon, has teamed up with local clothing brand Beachbound, founded by Salcombe lad Freddie Thompson.

James grew up in Salcombe and is one of three, including Archie, who formed Felon, a London-based DJ/producer group which makes electronic house music.

Felon, alongside Babylon’s great lineup of resident DJs, will be playing at the event on Saturday, August 19.

Originally signed to Sony Records, Felon now release their music through Armada Music, started by trance legend Armin van Buuren.

Over the last four years, Felon have performed all over the world, including Ibiza, Budapest and Amsterdam.

The event promises all sorts of shenanigans, including free face painting by Paper Bird Island of Salcombe, inflatables, giant deck chairs, the Babylon shrine as well as the Beachbound clothing outlet.

Music wise, expect the latest beats from London, including house, garage and bass brought to you by Babylon’s resident DJs.

There will also be a Prosecco bar and street food vendors, including the London Bagel Company.

Babylon Beachbound will be held at at Cliff House, Salcombe, from 3pm until 10pm on Saturday, August 19.
