Kingsbridge Fair Week was officially opening last night, followed by the traditional floral dance down Fore Street.

Accompanied by the Kingsbridge Silver Band and the town crier Roger Pinder, and despite the less-than-brilliant weather, children and adults alike dressed up with floral garlands and danced down the road after the reading of the 500-year-old royal charter by Mayor of Kingsbridge, Cllr Chris Povey.
