Sha Hard, stalwart of the 16-24 Kingsbridge Work Club, has died.

The work club issued the following tribute to her this evening.

It said: "It is with greatness sadness that our much-loved Sha Hard unexpectedly passed away on Monday.

"As part of the Spiritulized Youth for Christ family, Sha gave so much of herself to others; her time, love and energy for anyone who needed it. We think of the many young people who over the years experienced Sha’s incredible kindness, knowledge, compassion, positivity and caring influence, throughout the many different programs and projects of which she was an integral part.

"We thank God for blessing us with such a character and rest assured in the hope that she claimed to have in knowing Jesus. Please pray for Sha’s family as they work through this incredibly sad time."

Among those adding to the tribute was Kathy Harrod, secretary of Kingsbridge & Salcombe Chamber of Commerce. She said: "Such a wonderful lady and a friend. Sha will be missed by all who knew her. Thoughts and love to her family."

Sha, as co-ordinator of the work club, organised the annual Youth and Business Achievement Awards.
