HIGHER Town in Malborough will be closed on Monday, February 8 to allow Devon Highways to undertake essential repairs to the road.

The work is expected to be complete within one day, however the road might be closed for a maximum of five days.

Diversions will be in place, although the contractors will be equipped with steels to allow buses and heavy lories to pass through the road works, as they will be unable to fit along the diversion route through Lower Town.
